After booking your $500 deposit, you’ll receive direct access to a Cedar Bucket representative to review our pricing guide. Our general retail pricing for storage clients is as follows:
- $195/hr for two movers and a moving truck; 2 hour min
- 5x5 storage unit: $199/month (ideal for a single student dorm room or one bedroom with minimal large furniture)
- 5x10 storage unit: $366/month (ideal for a full dorm room or a standard bedroom)
- 10x10 storage unit: $526/month (ideal for a one-bedroom setup plus additional household furniture)
- 10x15: $840/month
There is a $200 entry fee for our ship to program where you can ship packages to your storage unit.
Additionally, a flat fee of $500 per dorm room applies for early on-campus move-in access, replacing the standard $195/hour moving rate.
5x5 Unit — $143/month
Best for boxes, small furniture, and a limited amount of personal items. Works for one person’s dorm room belongings or about half of a bedroom. Large furniture such as queen/king beds or sectionals will not fit.
5x10 Unit — $280/month
Fits the contents of one bedroom without oversized items. Great for one student’s room or an average dorm room shared by two students (if some items are taken with you).
10x10 Unit — $425/month
Holds a full bedroom plus larger furniture such as queen/king beds, sectionals, and headboards/frames that don’t dismantle easily. Can also fit one bedroom plus a few pieces from a living room or patio.
10x15 Unit — $600/month
Ideal for oversized furniture or a bedroom plus living room furniture.
10x20 Unit — $750/month
Good for multiple bedrooms and larger living areas.
After your $500 deposit to reserve your spot, you’ll receive your first invoice once your initial moving services are completed and/or your items have arrived at our warehouse. Your second invoice will be issued after your return move has been completed.
Cedar Bucket strongly discourages sharing storage units. Even for roommates moving from and to the same location, we encourage individual tracking and billing.
We are not able to separate inventory or billing within a shared account, which increases the risk of items being mixed up. For that reason, each client must book their own deposit and have their own account for their belongings.
This allows us to properly track, organize, and service each customer accurately and efficiently.
Yes. All Cedar Bucket storage plans have a 2-month minimum. This helps us maintain efficient warehouse space and scheduling throughout the summer season. If you need storage for less than two months, the full 2-month minimum charge will still apply.
Any storage period that extends beyond a full 30–31 day cycle will be billed as an additional full month.
Example:
If your storage extends even 1 day into the next month, it will be billed as a full additional month.
Moving services are $175 per hour for two movers and a truck, with a 1.5-hour minimum for our storage + moving premium package clients. For moving only clients it is $190/hr with an 1.5 hour minimum. Actual billed time is calculated upon completion of your move.
Yes. Both must be scheduled ahead of time and are based on availability.
- Handyman services: $150/hour, 1-hour minimum
- Assembly services: $150/hour, 1-hour minimum for peak demand on site. $100/hour for premium package storage clients assembled at the Cedar Bucket.
To ensure belongings are returned in the same condition, Cedar Bucket requires:
- Mattress bags are required.
- Fabric items to be wrapped/protected.
- TVs packed in sturdy TV boxes.
- Glass, mirrors, and fragile items wrapped in bubble wrap.
- Bed frames, TV mounts, lamps and other items with loose parts disassembled, with all parts labeled separately.
- All items labeled on site by our movers using Cedar Bucket labels to ensure proper tracking.
Cedar Bucket may provide packing materials on a case-by-case basis, subject to review and an additional charge. Please see more instructions on packing in your Cedar Bucket Service Guide you receive post deposit.

Include your full name on the shipping label (matching our records). The flat fee is $200 for up to 10 packages of any size, plus $10 per package for additional items. Once received, we scan, track, and place them in your unit.
Your Cedar Bucket representative will stay in touch and send reminders, but clients must update us with confirmed times and locations. Because clients are often tied to university or housing schedules, please notify us as soon as you have your updated details. Without confirmation, we cannot guarantee scheduling. We will email and text our forms to fill out capturing this information before moving begins.
Yes. Either you or a representative must be present during your move. This ensures clear communication, prevents misunderstandings, and allows our movers to confirm handling of your belongings.
On-Site Drop-Off Policy
Standard customer drop-offs are not permitted.
Limited exceptions may be approved by the Cedar Bucket team for storage clients only and must be scheduled in advance.

● $50-$100 drop-off fee dependant on weight and/or size

● Must receive written confirmation prior to arrival
Unscheduled Drop-Offs are not permitted
All approved drop-offs must follow Cedar Bucket packing and labeling standards to ensure accurate inventory tracking and item protection.
Clients should prepare with the expectation that items cannot be accessed mid-term. The only exceptions are emergencies or critical unforeseen situations. Since items are stored safely above ground in our warehouse and require significant rearranging to retrieve, we ask clients to wait until their move-out date.
Cedar Bucket encourages clients to use our consignment resale platform, which markets items online and in our Oxford storefront. If you wish to sell items directly to someone outside Cedar Bucket, we generally cannot pull specific items. In rare cases, this may be arranged, but additional charges may apply.
No. Cedar Bucket is not liable for any lost or damaged items. While we follow strict procedures and tracking systems to minimize risk, some wear, loss, or damage is a natural part of the moving process.
