The Cedar Bucket Story
Cedar Bucket is a local, family-run business founded by Ole Miss alumni who saw a real need in our community—and made it happen. With high demand for affordable furniture and better storage solutions, we created an all-in-one platform to buy, sell, store, and move home furnishings hassle-free.
Our property boasts over 20,000 square feet of warehouse and storefront space. Once home to the renowned Cedar Bucket Furniture Co.—a beloved name across the Southeast for its quality cedar furniture—it carries a rich legacy. We’ve revitalized the space, enhancing its functionality while preserving its history.
History
Standing proudly on our property, the world’s largest cedar bucket serves as a local landmark and a gateway to Oxford. It stands 7 feet tall and 6 feet wide while holding over 1500 gallons of water!
